Impact and Social Equity

Internal Culture & Benefits

We believe that a sustainable business starts with an environment where people feel safe, respected and empowered to grow. From our strong Labour Standards and Human Right Policies to our internal practices, we build a culture to support every employee.

Diversity: Part of Who We Are

Different backgrounds, identities and experiences are valued.

We’re proud to be a global company that reflects the world across the diverse markets we serve. With over 16 nationalities represented across 10 countries, and a gender parity of 51% of women and 49% of men, diversity is part of who we are.

Our key objective is to reach 50% of women in the group’s management positions by 2026 (46% in 2024).

In alignment with our DE&I Purpose, besides celebrating every year key cultural and societal milestones, we maintain a zero tolerance policy toward any form of discrimination and harassment. Our purpose is reinforced through our Code of Conduct and dedicated training programs.

Encouraging Dialogue
and Collaboration

Social dialogue aligns with the framework of the International Labour Office to include all types of negotiation, consultation, or simply exchange of information between, or among, representatives of employers and workers.

It is an opportunity for us to increase constructive and peaceful workplace relations.

Our Commitment to Society

As a global company,  we recognize our responsibility to make a positive impact that extends beyond our teams. Guided by one of our core values #CARE, we wish to foster inclusive workplaces and support the well-being of the communities around us, shaping every aspect of our operations.

Extending our Values

While we maintain strong internal policies, we recognize the importance of extending our values across our supply chain.

All of our partners, including vendors, suppliers and service providers, are expected to adhere and commit to our Vendor Code of Conduct. Ensuring that they comply with international labor laws, especially those established by the International Labour Organization.

Social Engagement

We support employee engagement with the community by offering 1 day per year of Volunteer Time Off. This day can be dedicated to engaging with NPOs in alignment with our values.

In partnership with NooS, our employees can also take an active role in selecting and supporting the causes we champion, such as the ones related to the Plastic Odyssey Foundation.

Every quarter, we host events to foster discussions and raise awareness about diverse topics, to create space for education, empathy and change.

Empowering Next Generations

4% of our team is made up of apprentices and interns.

Through Locala’s School Relationships Policy, we seek to engage students in job roles. By offering hands-on experience, we aim to help young individuals grow to become team players, future leaders and innovators.

To broaden horizons, employees falling under the 28 category, can be eligible to be relocated to one of our offices around the world, gaining valuable life and work experiences.

Finally, we collaborate with schools and universities around the world to support educational programs. As part of our partnerships, we’ve taken part in closed workshops, roundtable discussions and office visits, giving students a direct exposure to our industry and practices.

“The study projects offered by Locala allow our
students to work on current, practical topics and
to apply the most recent techniques in a real business environment.

The mentoring provided by Locala staff is highly
valuable and enables students to develop
essential skills and knowledge.
This experience
contributes meaningfully to their professional
development, particularly in areas such as data-
driven decision-making
and digital strategy.”
